Iris unguicularis (syn. I. stylosa)
Originating from North Africa, this perennial Iris is at least semi-evergreen if not fully, and grown in a sunny sheltered spot, will give fragrant bright blue flowers during mild spells in late autumn through to spring. Water well after planting. Good for cutting in winter. Can be left undisturbed for years.
